Bebés de Verão!
Olá!
Muitas mães e futuras mães têm vindo pedir dicas para escolher roupa de Verão para recém nascido. As dúvidas são muitas e as perguntas “idem aspas”.
Um bebé que nasce no verão, com calor, não precisa de tanta roupa como um bebé que nasce noutra época do ano. No entanto, nas primeiras horas de vida, os bebés têm que estar aquecidos e protegidos em algumas zonas-chave: cabeça, mãos e pés. Quando estão na nossa barriga, os bebés estão muito aconchegados e quentinhos. Quando vêm para o Mundo real precisam de adaptação J
Eu tive duas filhas que nasceram no verão e no segundo e terceiro dia já estavam de pernas sem meias. Tinham o cueiro a tapar, mas não tinham sapatinhos. É uma questão de bom senso. Em dias muito quentes eles também sentem calor e mesmo que sejam pequenos não os podemos aquecer demais pois vai gerar um desconforto desnecessário.
Os bebés não sentem muito mais o frio ou o calor do que nós… Uma dica que me deram na maternidade foi vestir ao bebé uma camada de roupa a mais em relação à que eu estava a usar. Assim, se eu estiver de t-shirt ao bebé vou vestir um body de manga comprida. Mas é claro que vamos indo e vamos vendo e que, quando está muito muito calor, temos de ir vendo como eles se sentem. Apanhei dias muito quentes em que elas estiveram só de body mesmo…
Existem alguns truques para ver se eles estão com frio. Se sentirmos a temperatura na barriga, peito e tronco vemos como eles estão. As mãos e pés não são de fiar, já que as extremidades são sempre mais frias e por isso, quando eles nascem, devem estar protegidas.
Devemos estar atentas ao frio e ao calor, pois este último pode atrapalhar o sono, o descanso e até a qualidade da alimentação dos bebés. É essencial ter vários bodies de manga curta; bodies sem mangas; (Zippy) gorro, luvas e calças de algodão (para o/os primeiros dias).
