Desde que fiquei grávida a primeira vez que este tema dos carrinhos deu pano para mangas cá em casa!
O meu marido e eu, até nos decidirmos pelos carrinhos que comprámos, fomos a muitas lojas ver os vários modelos que existiam. Acho importante ver os carrinhos, tirar dúvidas, comparar o preço-qualidade dos vários carrinhos… Enfim, ter uma visão do mercado dos carrinhos!
Para os primeiros gémeos, acabámos por escolher um carrinho na internet e depois encomendámos numa loja aqui em Lisboa. Comprámos um lado-a-lado de que gostámos imenso! Não é perfeito, mas acho que também nenhum carrinho de gémeos o é. No entanto, o carrinho tinha um defeito em particular (ainda que, como tivemos os bebés em Abril não nos fez muita diferença): não dava para pôr os ovos, ou seja, tínhamos de os tirar sempre do ovo e pôr no carrinho.
Ora, com bebés de Verão não fazia grande diferença, o problema é que quando comprámos o carrinho, estávamos longe de imaginar que, passados 6 meses, eu estava de novo grávida de mais dois!!! E, sendo duas bebés que vão passar o Inverno todo nos ovos, seria ser muito complicado usar este carrinho. Pelo que, desta vez, decidimos ter um carrinho que fosse compatível com os nossos ovinhos e que ocupasse o mínimo espaço possível no automóvel, uma vez que já temos o carro cheio com as cadeiras auto, pelo que não nos sobra grande espaço para os carrinhos.
Acabei por escolher um carrinho que já me tinha sido falado por uma amiga minha que vive em NY e que teve lá gémeos; sempre me disse que o adora e que está muito satisfeita. Entre os vários que vi, este pareceu-me ser o mais indicado para mim. Até agora, ao fim de uma semana de uso (bem sei que não é muito), estou bastante contente com o CIty Select da Baby Jogger!
É um carrinho prático, pequeno, frente-a-frente, fácil de abrir e fechar, perfeito para os primeiros meses quando as bebés ainda saem de casa nos ovos. Continuo a achar que, para bebés mais velhos a solução de lado-a-lado é mais confortável e melhor para a interacção entre os gémeos. Mas só quando chegar a essa altura poderei ter certezas porque, nesta fase, estou muito satisfeita com a solução frente-a-frente!
Uma das característica de que gosto bastante no City Select da Baby Jogger tem que ver com as rodas que traz, uma vez que são óptimas para andar na areia, subir e descer passeios. Além do mais, o travão do carrinho é em cima, coisa que os meus sapatos agradecem! Outra coisa boa deste carrinho é que dá para ser um carrinho de um só bebé (o meu antigo não dava), e serve também para dois bebés com idades diferentes.
Comprei também um patim para os gémeos mais velhos usarem com o carrinho, mas ainda não o experimentei; quando experimentar conto-vos!

Por aqui a escolha foi o Duette SW da Peg Pérego e ficámos muito satisfeitos com ele! Prático de abrir e fechar, espaçoso e com rodas grandes e guiador facilitava imenso nas saídas com as meninas! Pensámos comprar mais tarde um outro mais simples, lado a lado, mas acabamos por não o fazer. Agora raramente usamos carrinho, mas quando é preciso lá vai o Duette em ação, nunca nos deixa ficar mal 😉 Há um ano falei dele no meu blog, onde poderão ver fotos com as cadeiras e com os ovos.

Também tive muitas dúvidas com o carrinho, acabei por comprar através da amazon o Mountain buggy duet, estou super satisfeita.
O carrinho dava numa primeira fase para os 2 “ovinhos” e agora vão lado a lado.
Este carrinho é considerado dos mais pequenos/estreitos dos carrinhos de gémeos lado a lado e de facto cabe em todo o lado.
Tem umas rodas grandes, o que permite andar em qualquer lado, inclusive na praia.

Nós moramos nos EUA e também temos o City Select e adoramos! No nosso caso só tivemos um filho de cada vez, mas sabíamos que os quereríamos próximos portanto fomos logo à procura de um que se convertesse em duplo. Uma das grandes vantagens do carrinho são as múltiplas posições – quando as gémeas forem um pouquinho mais velhas e se sentarem nas cadeiras, podem virá-las uma para a outra para interagirem (ou de costas uma para a outra quando estiverem a fazer birras!!). Apesar de ter uma carrinha grande, queria algo compacto, que me permitisse andar bem pela rua, entrar em elevadores, atravessar portas, etc… Os que vejo normalmente são enormes, parecem umas limusinas, LOL!
