Hoje estou de volta com mais uma conversa real com uma mãe de gémeos, a qual conheci por acaso e pela qual tive logo uma empatia.
Resolvi procurá-la através do Facebook e lancei-lhe este desafio de partilhar connosco um bocadinho mais da sua história como mãe de gémeos.

Aos Pares: O que é para ti ser mãe?
A: Sinceramente tem sido diferente de etapa para etapa. Começou no dia do nascimento com um sentimento animal, de proteção dos meus bebés. Atualmente, e já lá vão 3 anos, é um sentimento de paixão permanente pela minha princesa Carminho e pelo meu “pinpe” que é como o Vicente se autodenomina.
Aos Pares: Qual a tua reação quando soubeste que estavas grávida da primeira vez?
A: Na realidade eu só engravidei uma vez na vida, e logo um par (riso). Foi uma gravidez planeada pois tive que recorrer a tratamentos de fertilização e à primeira in vitro os pequeninos decidiram aninhar-se. Por isso quando fomos fazer a consulta de controlo foi-nos logo adiantado que muito provavelmente estaria grávida. Sabe-se muito mais cedo que uma gravidez dita “normal”, pois todas as etapas são calculadas. Nessa altura ainda pairavam muitas dúvidas, se sim ou se não ia ser Mamã. O grande “uau” veio quando vimos os dois embriões na primeira eco, logo aos 15 dias de gravidez! E aí sim, deram-se as primeiras fotos, os sorrisos e também o respirar fundo de ambos pois algo grandioso ia acontecer – não sabíamos era muito bem “o quê” (risos) !.
Aos Pares: Sempre desejaste ter mais que um filho, qual o teu número ideal?
A: Bem, o meu numero ideal sempre foram três, tal como prova o meu diário dos meus 12 anos. Por enquanto tenho uma “dupla maravilha” – vamos ver o que o futuro nos reserva.
Aos Pares: A tua gravidez correu bem? Alguma recomendação para as grávidas durante a gravidez?
A: A minha gravidez foi de risco desde o primeiro momento, pois tinha algumas complicações que me impossibilitaram de manter uma vida normal. Foi um tempo vivido com mais calma e onde tive tempo para tudo … para as Amigas, para a Família, para as festinhas na barriga … para fazer ponto de cruz (não tenho jeito nenhum) e para mudar duas vezes a decoração do quarto dos “pompons”.
Bem, a minha recomendação é que vivam a gravidez de acordo com a vossa maneira de ser, sem grandes espectativas nem comparações com outras Mamãs.
O esforço vem em sentirem-se confortáveis com a Vossa “nova pele”, se possível muito mimadas por quem Vos rodeia.
Aos Pares: O que levar na mala de maternidade?
A: Eu segui as recomendações da Maternidade, no que diz respeito aos enxovais dos pequeninos. Mas claro, acrescentei os meus “pozinhos”, a minha bolsa de maquilhagem, a minha cinta, os meus elásticos de cabelo, quis manter-me vaidosa não só nas roupinhas que escolhi para os pequeninos, como comigo – a nova Mamã “Pipoca”. E recordo-me que outras Mamãs que se encontravam no quarto diziam como é que eu conseguia, pois bem, com esforço, em igual proporção daquele que depositava no cuidado dos meus filhos.
Aos Pares: Quais são as tuas rotinas diárias como mãe e mulher?
A: Os papéis no meu caso não se misturam. Adoro ser Mulher, e depois sou inundada em todas as horas do meu dia por algo que me torna uma Mulher Especial – ser a Mãe da Carminho e do Vicente.
Começo o dia a arranjar-me, a pôr-me bonita, depois vou para o trabalho e aguardo pelo telefonema do maridão para saber se tudo correu bem com os pequeninos – ele tem o turno da manhã (riso). Ao longo do dia garanto que nada falta na harmonia familiar (compras de supermercado, roupas, médicos, presentes, atividades) …
E finalmente ao fim do dia tenho o meu momento “cereja topo do bolo”.
A partir das 17h só sou dos meus Filhos, entre os primeiros abraços e beijinhos ainda na escola iniciamos a melhor parte do meu dia, amá-los, sem telemóveis, sem computadores… só a cuidar deles.
Depois do jantar, com direito a muita conversa sobre os amigos e as brincadeiras, 20 minutos de desenhos animados em família já com o Papá em casa, depois os dentinhos lavados com primor, para logo de seguida ler a história e a música …sempre inventada pois até hoje não sei nenhuma de cor. E antes da porta do quarto se fechar para “um óó grande”, ainda há vários tipos de beijinhos, sem som, com som, muitos, poucos, no pescoço, na barriga …
Aos Pares: Consegues conciliar a vida de mãe com o trabalho?
A: Não é fácil. A carreira está em slow motion, sem dúvida que nesta fase dou prioridade aos meus filhos e às suas necessidades, principalmente a necessidade de tempo que é aquela que o trabalho mais nos rouba.
Aos Pares: Qual o papel do Pai aí em casa?
A: No meu caso o Pai não é uma ajuda, uma vez que tem as suas responsabilidades e as suas dinâmicas com os seus filhotes, independentes da minha presença ou não. Para mim não faz sentido existir um desequilíbrio dos papéis, nem no amor, nem na disponibilidade para com os filhos. Não vou mentir, sinto-me uma privilegiada, tenho ao meu lado o melhor “pai do mundo” para os meus filhos.
Aos Pares: Qual o episódio mais divertido e o mais caricato que tiveste com os teu filhos?
A: Na fase dos três anos existe etapas muito engraçadas e que levam a uma rotina caricata, como o largar definitivo das fraldas e que nos leva a acionar a sirene nos mais variados sítios e momentos para que o xixi seja feito na sanita e não no chão. Como a etapa da fala, e principalmente o feminino e o masculino das palavras dá aso a muita risada .. a sapa… a cagumela… o cegonho …
Aos Pares: Qual o maior susto que apanhaste como Mãe?
A: (in)Felizmente estas férias, o Vicente acabou por cair na piscina de um casa onde íamos passar a última semana de férias. Não passou de um grande susto, pois foi rapidamente retirado da piscina pelo gerente do espaço. Mas ainda hoje me questiono como foi, como não vi, porque não estava lá … Naqueles segundos que vi a Carminho a correr a dizer que o mano tinha caído na piscina (ele seguia logo atrás todo molhado) a minha vida parou, gelou.
Aos Pares: És preocupada com a roupa dos teus filhos? Qual a tua loja preferida?
A: Sim sou. Adoro vesti-los bem, ao estilo clássico, e com o mood a condizer, não necessariamente cores ou padrões, mas o estilo. Gosto muito da Knot, da Patinhos, da Materna, da Lanidor.
Aos Pares: Qual o teu maior desejo e o teu maior medo como mãe?
A: Desejo muito que eles estejam acompanhados pela vida fora por bons amigos, por uma família forte, e por sonhos que os façam crescer mas também que os façam viver a vida tal como ela é.
Por outro lado tenho medo que eles se sintam inseguros na sua maneira de ser e consequentemente nas suas opções de vida. Estou cá eu e o Pai para os ajudar, mas pode não chegar.
Aos Pares: Como gostas de passar o teu tempo em família?
A: Gosto sempre de estar na rua, tenho de aprender a “curtir” estar em casa. Por isso adoro ir a Festivais, concertos, parques, museus e estar em grupo com os Amigos com filhotes … Para isso sigo um sem número de blogues, páginas de facebook, portais dedicados ao lazer … sem dúvida o mundo em que vivemos e em particular Lisboa oferece-nos muitas alternativas de diversão para a Família. Procuro programas com entrada livre, pois eles ainda têm pouca resistência a grandes programas, mas por outro lado qualquer coisa nova, é uma excitação, é uma descoberta.
Aos Pares: Os filhos dão-nos muitas alegrias, qual a maior que tiveste?
A: Não elejo assim uma “alegria”, penso que não tem a ver com a concretização de tarefas, etapas ou mesmo espectativas. Tenho essa alegria, essa excitação cada vez que os vejo a brincar juntos, em diversão pura, a adorarem-se como “manos” .
Aos Pares: Recomendações pós-parto?
A: Tenham ajuda, qualquer uma serve, até de uma vizinha (tal como no meu caso) para apanharem pelo menos 30 minutos de “sol” por dia, e que pode ser tomar café com uma amiga, ir ao cabeleireiro, ir dar uma caminhada … e distanciem-se temporariamente da rotina agressiva dos primeiros tempos. Tenham o vosso momento para “respirar fundo”.
Já para as Mamãs de Gémeos para além desta recomendação dou outra que me foi passada por uma Enfermeira da Maternidade “com Gémeos não há romantismos”, traduzindo: sejam muito disciplinadas e organizadas desde os primeiros momentos, passem a “calendarização” a quem vos acompanha – só assim poderão garantir os vossos “30 minutos para respirar fundo”, sem pesos e consciência.
Aos Pares: quais as roupas que aconselhas às grávidas?
A: Fui um bocadinho atípica na minha gravidez, tentei manter o meu sapato alto e o meu “ar”, mas também adquiri algumas peças, essencialmente vestidos que marcavam a minha barriga e que ainda me faziam sentir mais “especial”, pois era enorme – de gémeos!
Aos Pares: Essencial para o outono/inverno?
A: Vestidos de malha e uns botins confortáveis, com algumas echarpes e o Inverno “está feito”. Afinal são poucos meses em que o nosso corpo adquire aquele diâmetro (riso).
Aos Pares: Recomendações para umas férias em família de inverno?
M: Ainda não tive essa experiência, a logística dos gémeos não é fácil, mas estamos a pensar este ano ir à neve, depois logo conto.
Mas para qualquer ida de férias com pequeninos a minha recomendação é que organizem com tempo a mala, as comidas, e que levem o essencial .. uma lista feita como ponto de partida é essencial para não se esquecerem de nada que possa vir a ser importante.
Para aquelas Mamãs que não se conseguem organizar, hoje em dia existe uma Farmácia e um Supermercado em cada “esquina”
Aos Pares: Ser mãe de gémeos é…
M: Sem dúvida especial – observar dois seres tão diferentes a crescer ao mesmo tempo é algo inarrável, incalculável, inestimável. Sou profundamente feliz com os meus filhos Gémeos.
