À descoberta da Lousã, com passagem por Coimbra!
Um fim-de-semana espetacular! Juntar família e amigos é sem dúvida maravilhoso – a combinação perfeita.
Sexta-feira, depois da escola e do trabalho, fizemo-nos à estrada em direcção à Lousã para um fim-de-semana no centro do país, cheios de vontade de descobrir a região.
Por já ter ouvido muito boas criticas, escolhemos o Palácio da Lousã para passar o fim-de-semana. Posso confirmar que, ainda por cima com bebés, a escolha não podia ter sido melhor – é um hotel muito baby friendly!
O Palácio dos Salazares, ou Palácio da Viscondessa do Espinhal, foi construído por ordem de Bernardo Salazar Sarmento d´Eça e Alarcão em finais do Século XVIII. Em 1818 foi terminada a edificação do corpo central pelos filhos do Desembargador Bernardo Salazar, onde é hoje o Boutique Hotel Palácio da Lousã.
Chegámos ao fim do dia e aproveitámos para dar o jantar às crianças, uma vez que o trazíamos já preparado de Lisboa. Depois juntámos-nos aos nossos amigos e fomos jantar no restaurante do hotel, que recomendo vivamente! Além de tudo ser delicioso, “estamos em casa”. Aliás, são mesmo estas as palavras que levo deste hotel: sentimo-nos em casa 🙂
Os quartos são ótimos e o hotel está cheio de salas muito confortáveis para estarmos em grupo ou em família a passar momentos de relaxe. Tem disponível uma biblioteca, cadeiras e mesas para os mais pequenos e uma sala de jogos com mesa de bilhar que fez as delícias de todos os homens do grupo!
Os empregados são incríveis. Os nossos filhos adoraram-nos! Ahah…passeavam com eles por todo o hotel, ofereceram-lhes livros de pintar, até à cozinha os levaram…e sempre de sorriso na cara!
Os jardins, além da piscina que deve ser uma delicia no verão, têm um parque infantil que os miúdos adoraram.
Passámos o dia de sábado em Coimbra, no Portugal dos Pequenitos e não sei quem mais gostou, se crianças ou adultos 🙂 Foi um reviver da infância e uma manhã maravilhosa. Os miúdos andaram felizes de casa em casa a terminar no parque infantil, radiantes, nos escorregas. 🙂
Estar em Coimbra e não ir almoçar um leitão era impossível… assim foi e, durante a tarde, fomos descobrir as aldeias de Xisto. São simplesmente lindas…
Na serra da Lousã existem várias. Nós escolhemos a Aldeia do Talasnal, um conjunto de casas engenhosamente construídas numa encosta da serra.
Cerca de vinte casas de pequenas dimensões mas muito acolhedoras. Tivemos a sorte de visitar duas casas recuperadas que respeitaram quase a sua condição original.
Caminhamos pelas ruas pequenas e estritas que acompanham o declive da encosta. Da rua principal derivam pequenas ruelas e becos onde podemos encontrar um bar e um restaurante que parecem ter ficado parados no tempo. Faltou provar o Cabrito Assado do Restaurante da Ti Lena, de que apenas sentimos o cheiro… 🙂
Vamos voltar brevemente. A Aldeia do Talasnal pareceu-nos o lugar ideal para um retiro familiar.
Hoje, como o tempo não esteve famoso, fomos ver o castelo da Lousã e as cascatas e almoçar a um restaurante muito conhecido da zona, que é de comer e chorar por mais. Só pratos típicos e pelo que percebemos está sempre cheio, devido às especialidades e à simpatia de todos os funcionários.
Foi um fim-de-semana de descoberta entre família e amigos que correu muito bem.
Para casa, trouxemos a vontade de voltar com os quatro e de desfrutar mais da região.
