Quem é o Gustavo Carona?
Conheço o Gustavo há muitos anos, uma pessoa incrível que ao longo destes últimos anos tem feito tudo pelos outros.
Vou apresentar-vos o Gustavo.
” O meu nome é Gustavo Carona, e assim de uma forma muito simples me apresento porque não tenho nenhuma grande máquina a fazê-lo por mim. Escrevo-lhe do Burundi (e aqui passo o Natal e Ano Novo), da minha 10a missão humanitária enquanto médico, sempre em cenários de extrema carência humanitária e conflitos terríveis.
Escrevo-lhe porque acredito do fundo do meu coração que “O Mundo Precisa de Saber”, que é o nome do meu livro lançado há pouco que relata as minhas missões na RDCongo, no Paquistão, Afeganistão e na Síria. E com os meus relatos de quem já perdeu muitas vidas nas mãos, tento dar voz às tantas pessoas que mereciam mais atenção de todos, e com as histórias que contam a mais relevante história contemporânea, acrescento as minhas reflexões que no meio de muitas lágrimas estão recheadas de esperança e optimismo na luta por um mundo melhor.
Falo sobre os filhos de ninguém, sobre as fragilidades das mulheres e da violência sexual, e sobre as maléficas consequências das guerras… mas também daquilo que todos devemos fazer para que a Taxa de Felicidade Global aumente :).
E gostaria imenso que me ajudasse a catapultar os meus sonhos humanitários para o nível que a humanidade merece. Se tiver curiosidade:
